The Taki 1000 series is a gasoline tanker that began operating in 1993. It has a frameless structure similar to the Taki 43000 series, and can carry 45 tons of gasoline. The bogies are FT21, allowing it to travel at a speed of 95km/h. Some Taki 1000 series cars have the ENEOS and Ecorail marks on the side of the car body.
