The 113 series is a commuter train developed by Japanese National Railways and introduced in 1963. The Salo 124 is a green car that was introduced to replace the Salo 110 and 111, and has a two-story stainless steel body structure similar to the Salo 212 of the 211 series. It was organized in a train with the single-story Salo 110-1200.
