The M1070 is a tractor developed by Oshkosh to transport the M1 Abrams tank, and has been deployed since 1993. The U.S. Army collectively calls the M1070 and the M1000 semi-trailer of the loading plateform HETS (Heavy Equipment Transporter System). The M1070 is 9.1 meters long and 2.6 meters wide, and is powered by a 500hp diesel engine, capable of speeds up to 72km/h on the road, capable of carrying a vehicle weighing 70 tons, and having a towing capacity of 25 tons. It's also equipped with a winch. The cabin has space for up to six people, including the driver and workers. The gun truck type is an Improvised Fighting Vehicle with a bulletproof board on the cabin and a machine gun on the loading platform.
