LifeColor paints are water based acrylic colours for modelling and hobby painting. They are excellent for both paint brushing and airbrushing onto plastic, resin, metal, vinyl, wood, cloth and ceramic. This wide range of paints includes basic gloss and matt colours and mimetic, based on the Federal Standard 595b correspondence and each label shows the equivalent FS number. The range offers many paints grouped into convenient sets for specific subjects, including tanks, aircraft, uniforms/figures, ships, railways and weathering. The M1929 Camouflage Cloth is probably the first existing camouflage model produced in series. Introduced in 1929, it was widely distributed to Italian soldiers as an accessory to be used as a shelter/poncho. After the capitulation of Italy in 1943, the German units adopted the M1929 camo model for their own use. This set includes Base Green (Cuoio Verde) UA 460 a Ochre Spots (Ochre Sandstrorm) UA 7008 and a Brown Spots (Rebel Brown) UA 301. Using LifeColor: - Clean surfaces before painting - For airbrushing, dilute the colour to a milky consistency using water or LifeColor Thinner. - Airbrush at low pressures between 10 20 psi. (Iwata airbrushes give the best performance and atomisation at low pressures.) - Apply colour in thin coats with a brush or airbrush - Allow to dry completely between coats - Clean your airbrush with LifeColor Cleaner or Medea Airbrush Cleaner and flush through with water
