(Semi-Direct Steering System) for autonomous riding stability beyond conventional R/C motorcycle designs. This assembly kit recreates the 1978 Yamaha YZR500, the machine ridden by Kenny Roberts during his 1978 World Grand Prix 500cc championship season. Roberts won the title in his rookie year and continued championship victories through 1980. Kyosho's design team researched an original 1978 YZR500 to replicate construction details. The front suspension has been converted from inverted to upright configuration to match the historical machine's specifications. Supplied as an unassembled kit.
