The Kaman SH-2 Seasprite is an American multi-role naval helicopter of the Cold War and modern eras. The prototype first flew in 1959, and the aircraft entered service in 1962. It is powered by two General Electric T58-GE-8F engines, each producing 1,350 hp. The helicopter has a conventional layout with a single main rotor and a propeller on a tail boom.
