Version Info: This is the High Performance version of the Freewing F/A-18C Hornet Blue Angels. This version includes full digital metal gear servos for elevators and flaps and, as of 10/13/2023, a newly designed 3668-1960Kv inrunner motor with 12-blade fan and a thrust reversing 120A ESC.
Over ten years ago, Freewing began developing their first American 90mm EDF, the F/A-18E Super Hornet. Made of EPS foam and sporting a plastic five blade fan, that model was one of the first 90mm PNPs to demonstrate Freewing s dreams, and it set the stage for their evolution.
