ForeArt 1/72 Scimitar MK2 CVR(T) Plastic Model Kit

The Fv107 Scimitar is a reconnaissance combat vehicle developed in the United Kingdom and officially adopted in 1973, and is a derivative of the Fv101 Scorpion. The Fv101 Scorpion is equipped with a 23-caliber 76.2mm tank gun L23 as the main gun, while the Scimitar is equipped with a 30mm L21 Laden machine gun which is more effective for light armored vehicles. It was initially equipped with a Jaguar J60 in-line six-cylinder liquid-cooled gasoline engine, but based on the CVR(T) (Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked)) service life extension program, the Cummins BTA 5.9 in-line six-cylinder liquid-cooled engine was replaced with a turbocharged diesel engine. In addition, from 2010, further refurbishments carried out on the Scimitar strengthened its armor.

This model kit includes link-and-length tracks, photo-etched parts, a metal gun barrel, and decals for one version.
