The Jagdpanzer IV L/70(V) was a German tank destroyer introduced in 1944, built by Vomag and based on the Panzer IV chassis. It mounted the powerful 75mm Pak 42 L/70 gun, offering excellent anti-tank capabilities at long range. With its low silhouette, sloped armor, and lack of a rotating turret, it was designed for ambush tactics and defensive roles. Compared to earlier models, the L/70(V) had improved frontal armor and better gun performance, but its increased weight strained the chassis, affecting mobility. Despite this, it was a formidable opponent on the battlefield, serving until the end of the war.
