The Physics engine is custom built from the ground up to create incredible accuracy, realism and performance. Including advanced effects such as flight curve, inertia modelling, torque dynamics and realistic undercarriage/ground interaction. When you crash watch as the impact damages individual componenets and alters the performance of flight.
This sytem also allows you to construct flight failures allowing you to practice for worst case scenarios such as engine failures. Easily adapt and modify any model to meet your exact specifications ideal for tuning. Included is a fantastic play back system, rewind your flights to better understand your mistakes or marvel at your abilities.
The graphics sytem has been developed to create the highest degree of realism available. Using 360 x 180 degree photrealistic terrain to create an amazing setting for your flights. The graphic effects utilised include specular highlights, enviromental reflections, soft shadows, realistic smoke, antialiasing, night glow effects and sun blooms. All of these features combine to create fantastic realistic settings.
Included are over 50 models of RC helicopters, fixed wing aircrafts and gliders with more released reguarly via the Phoenix website for free.
WHICH TRANSMITTER DOES PHOENIX FLIGHT SIM SUPPORT?
Our USB interface device is compatible with a huge range of transmitters and training boxes. Please note that Phoenix flight sim will only accept input through the included USB device, and does not accept control through USB controllers. More details on Phoenix flight sim here.
The phoenix simulator includes multiplayer facilities. Using PhoenixNet a dedicated matchmaking sevice to connect flyers via the internet and LAN networks. Up to four flyers can participate in baloon bursting and streamer combat games or you can just spectate and watch flyers controls onscreen enabling you to learn from some of the best around.
